Come on, Eileen.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez – Book Review 📖💙Synopsis:📱 Samantha is a social media manager who excels at crafting perfect online images, but her own life is far from flawless. During a work assignment at a small-town animal clinic, she meets Xavier Rush—a devastatingly handsome veterinarian with a penchant for rescuing strays. Their initial encounter is rocky, with Xavier's bluntness clashing against Samantha's fiery demeanor. However, after an unforgettable date, Samantha faces a family crisis that forces her to pull away, pleading with Xavier to remember their night together as a perfect moment. Despite the distance, their undeniable connection challenges them to consider if one perfect memory can evolve into a lifetime of love. 🐾💘My Thoughts:💭 Abby Jimenez delivers a poignant and heartfelt romance that beautifully balances humor, emotional depth, and authentic characters. Samantha and Xavier’s chemistry is electric, but what truly makes their story shine is how Jimenez explores the emotional weight of a long-distance relationship. The ache of wanting to be together, the struggle to stay connected despite miles apart, and the uncertainty of whether love can truly withstand the test of time all feel incredibly real. The small-town setting adds charm, while the exploration of family dynamics and personal growth enriches the narrative. Jimenez’s signature wit and emotional insight make this novel a standout in contemporary romance. 💕📚Tropes:✨ Enemies to Lovers🏡 Small-Town Romance📍 Forced Proximity💔 Emotional Healing🔥 Slow Burn✈️ Long-Distance RelationshipTrigger Warnings:💔 Family Crisis🧠 Emotional Trauma💬 Mental Health StrugglesFinal Thoughts:💖 Say You'll Remember Me is a beautifully crafted story that resonates with readers through its authentic portrayal of love, loss, and the courage to embrace second chances. Story of Sacrifice in a Relationship
Abby Jimenez delivers another emotionally resonant romance with Say You’ll Remember Me. This book struck a deep chord with me, earning a strong 4.5 stars. One of the standout elements was how authentically and compassionately Jimenez portrayed the complexities of being a caregiver to someone with Alzheimer’s. She doesn’t shy away from the emotional weight, but balances it with warmth, grace, and even humor. The relationship at the heart of the story felt real and earned. I loved the layers Jimenez explored—how love evolves over time, how sacrifice is often necessary, and how two people can fight for each other through unimaginable circumstances. The emotional depth of the characters made their journey all the more powerful. This is more than just a great romance—it’s a story about resilience, love in its truest form, and the strength it takes to stay. Highly recommend to fans of heartfelt, character-driven love stories with real emotional stakes.

Emotional and swoon-worthy, just what I expect from Abby!
Once again, Abby has written bestseller material. Xavier and Samantha stole my heart from their very first anger-laced interaction. The meet-cute? Hilarious. Had me holding in my chuckles so I wouldn't wake my household. The rest of the book, while peppered with Abby's signature wit, is also poignant and will pluck your heartstrings like a maestro.Xavier is seen as the stereotypical grump - not approachable, no social skills, not interested in relationships. He owns a veterinary clinic in Minnesota and is more comfortable among the company of animals than people. When Samantha brings a tiny kitten into his practice for a very *unusual* problem, he is immediately smitten...but comes off as a jerk. What ensues can only be described as a whirlwind romance, with both Xavier and Samantha falling hard for each other. When Samantha is called home due to the failing health of her mother, however, things become complicated. Will their relationship survive the distance and the family issues that continue to plague them?UGH, the way these two fall in love is nothing short of a masterpiece. One of the things that I love most about Abby is that she writes such real, relatable content into her love stories, and the characters face struggles that befall the general population. Xavier grew up with crappy parents who always made him feel less-than, thus he has spent the majority of adulthood trying to prove himself, to a fault. Samantha's mom has a dementia diagnosis, and it begins to take a toll on the whole family. Their relationship is put to the test when they are almost immediately forced to make things long distance. Both stubborn and unwilling to give up their current living situations, it makes things interesting to say the least.I loved the duality of the title, because Samantha keeps telling Xavier to forget her and move on, all the while she is dealing with the emotions of returning home to a mother with dementia who doesn't remember who she is. Both situations are heart wrenching in their own ways and Abby definitely has a way of making you feel all. of. the. things. On the flip side, this book was freaking hilarious and had me chuckling out loud on several occasions. Some highlights include a UFO escape room, mustard marketing, and animals named Pooter and Jake from State Farm. Abby's writing is bitingly witty, and this book delivers. The balance between the emotion and humor can feel a bit jarring at times, but it's necessary. The tension stemming from the long-distance relationship lasted longer than I expected, yet it made the ending that much sweeter. It truly makes one think: How far would you go to keep "The One"?Thank you so much to Abby for the opportunity to read and review!
