I had bought this knife for my son to take for work and hiking. The blade is short and legal, where allowed. Its sturdy, yet not too heavy for backpacks. It feels good in your hand.It's easy to open and easy to close. I often have problems feeling safe closing the locking blade style knives. But, with this knife, I felt very safe closing it. I liked that and the additional features so much that I bought another one to keep in my car in case I needed to cut my seat belt and break a window in an emergency. The cost was too reasonable not to have one in case of emergency.

It’s a good knife but it is NOT spring assisted so when you use the thumb knob, it will not fully open. It takes both hands to fully open the blade. That is not my preference.

When I got it, the packaging was very well maintained. Its colors are very vibrant like portrayed in the pictures. Right out of the box, it was extremely sharp. 10/10

It locks nicely back in place and feels good in my hand and in my pocked. I don't like that there is no spring for the blade so you have to manually fold it out. However, I still feel safer with it than without.

Out of the box it’s a decent knife for the price. It is NOT spring assisted. Not looking to use in combat or anything but most of the time when I’m working on something I need to hold with one hand and open the knife to use with the other hand.It’s very stiff to open and only comes about 1/4 of the way open when you pull on the lever.Played with it a couple of days and it hasn’t loosened up any.Still worth the price, just not as fluid as I would like
