The best micron gauge, period.
Had one I used for about 5 years, never had a problem with it. It was hit many times with refrigerant and positive pressures and still worked. Then I decided to go with the Fieldpiece wireless gauge for some stupid reason. Within 4 months it got hit with very little of the same as above. tried several times to clean it to no avail. The readings are all over the place. That was a complete waste of $225.00! I sold my old CPS to one of my coworkers and it's still running like a champ! I bought this one from my past experience with it, and I will never look back again. It's bullet proof and there is none BETTER!

Best of the Best in Digital Vacuum Gauges
This CPS VG200 Digital Vacuum Gauge with NIST Calibration for accuracy is the GOLD STANDARD for this type of gauge, and so is naturally a bit pricey. There are others at lower cost available, that work fine enough for most situations, if all you need to pull is a 300 to 500 Micron vacuum. However, this vacuum gauge can withstand 400 PSI of positive pressure, and can be cleaned of oil with a shot of denatured alchohol, uses one 9-volt alkaline battery, and comes with a pass-through Y fitting to monitor vacuum at the hose connection, has a hanger, and well-built carrying case. So if you are a Pro or still learning the trade, this is an outstanding item to add to your tool collection.

The guage is Good
I almost sent this guage back. I had it connected directly to my vacuum pump and each time I shut the pump off the pressure would drop immediately. I notice that one of the ports on my pump had a plastic cap. I was not confident this cap would seal perfectly. I then decided to isolate the gauge with a small ball valve. Success. The plastic cap was the problem. The guage is GOOD.

Great gauge, JUNK LEAKING TEE!
Gauge seems to be accurate, included tee is JUNK!Gauge went to 3 microns…. Gauge with the included tee won’t go below 500 on a 9cfm pump. Tried a different seal in it with zero change. The solder / braze job on it is leaking. Not happy about that!

quality guage , essential tool for HVAC install repair and maintenance
I received a used one which was covered in refrigerant oil and requested a replacement. I would have been ok with a used on but not at full price. A replacement was sent promptly and a precision micron gauge like this will make your mini split installs a lot easier and give you greater confidence that you have pulled a deep vacuum. Get a 9v battery when you place your order

Not accurate at all
I work as a Production Manager for a chemical manufacturing company. I have been around vacuum pumps and vacuum gauges for almost 20 years and tried many different types and brands. I have certain go-to brands that have proven to be reliable and accurate. Recently we decided to try to improve a certain step in our process and knowing the vacuum inside the equipment is critical. Typically I use another brand that is very accurate, but is a lot more expensive. Since I am looking to purchase a total of 8-10 of these, I started looking for a cheaper option.I just got this today and I put it in line with my other gauge just to see how similar they were to each other. The process I was doing, I wanted the vacuum around 65 torr. My go-to gauge consistently read between 64-65 the entire time I was testing, which was probably around 30 mins.During that time, this gauge immediately read 20 torr lower, and continued to drop until it settled on 2.2 torr while the other gauge read 64. The equipment I was using for this test is not capable of reaching that kind of vacuum.I regularly use other equipment that can achieve a vacuum as low as 0.2 torr.In summary, this is not a reliable and accurate vacuum gauge. I immediately boxed it back up and will be returning it.
