This replaced a charger that I used for decades that died. I’ve only used my new charger once on a 5.4 Triton V8. The battery would only click when trying to start this motor. I set my new charger on 250 amp boost sat down in the drivers seat and the truck started right up with no hesitation. I continued charging the battery and the charger worked great. It’s easy to maneuver around and easy to operate. The LED screen can be hard to read in bright sunlight. That’s the only issue I’ve experienced with this charger. It will work great for home or business uses. The jumper cables and clamps are heavy duty and with plenty of length to reach most any battery.

Good battery was a little confusing to use at first

I purchased this charger to replace an older, smaller, less powerful charger I had. I decided to go with the" professional" DSR series. It was listed as being heavy-duty, metal construction. It's so flimsy and lightweight. It just feels like a big, thin metal, empty box. I used it the first time, no problem, second time went well. I tried to use it a 3rd time and nothing. It's dead. It's right at the 1 year warranty, so it's on me. Customer support is useless. What a waste of money.

Good variations and capabilities. Charges as it should. Would like to see handle adjust to much shorter length.

I hoped that the previous reviews held true. Once I received it I put it to use. Once you set it up with what type battery you’re charging it does the rest. You can set the time you want and it’ll shut itself down and go into maintain mode. It’ll also shut itself down if it detects an issue with the battery you’re charging. Highly recommend. This one runs circles around the Napa charger I purchased a year ago.

The unit I received did not turn on out of the box. I thought I must be doing something wrong. Even checked the owners manual.Returned the unit and selected a different model. Thankful for Amazons return policy.
