This is a gorgeous intense drink. Not a whisky I drink every day, but love when I do!

Bit disappointed
For the cost and age, you’d expect a lot better. I got the benromach peat contrasts at the same time and it was miles better. I also have the week of peat 14 yr old from a few years back and that was a lot better too.

This wonderful whisky is a perfect gift for my very special boyfriend, it tastes amazing and he loves it. Always deliverd promptly and well packaged. Excellent value for the money.

A Beautiful Whisky
Lovely stuff, only thing is I much prefer the Balvenie 14 year Week of Peat to this Balvenie 17 year Week of Peat. The 17 smells nicer like Medjool Dates, figs & sugar, but the 14 tastes nicer & is smoother. Maybe because the 17 is bottled at 49.4% compared to 48.3% for the 14.

Great Whisky
If you like Speyside and Islay whiskies this is a great meeting of the two styles, it is a smokey whisky.
