Cookwise Cast Iron Tawa with Wooden Handle, Black, 1 Piece

Well this product is not upto the mark but it is good, easy to clean, seems ok except the handles, one handle came out in first 5 minute use only. I wanted to give 3.5 but there is no option so giving 4. Reason for 3.5- first delivered product was damaged, replacement was quick thanks for that, product got damaged in first 5 minute use itself. Handles should be of good and durable wooden considering the price of this product. Will post review after may be 3-6 months if it really a worth buy. Thanks.

Good product. Sits very comfortably on the gas burner. The wooden handles make it easy to move it around. Easy to clean with a regular scrubber. The concave shape is just right for parathas. All in all a good buy. Just one point relating to the quality of the wooden handles - they are in no way as fancy as they show up in the product image. So keep your expectations low. Otherwise they work well. Have been using the tawa for 2 months now and am happy with the purchase

This product is worth buying. Strong , heavy and with nice wooden handles. The design of this makes proper heat spread at the bottom of pan. I feel the negative review here could only because first time we need to learn to use this cast iron cookware, yes off course there is a learning curve.I purchased The cast iron skillet being healthy cookware option. Spend some time on seasoning once I received order. After that I was surprised with its magic work, perfectly crispy dosa works like non-stick, nice chapatis.First time cast Iron skillet buyers need to know that there is a learning curve when it comes to cast iron cookware, flame need to be slow after cookware is heated properly, increase after spreading batter only if needed. when to minimize maximize stove heat, once we learn it then no-one can stop from making perfect dosa using this.

This is an amazing product worked like a charm, the Tawa is indeed seasoned and all i needed to do was get it cleaned up and some onion sauteing to take away some of the smell, and it worked excellent, dosa's are coming off fantastic, a good buy!!

Very good tawa for dosa making. I have used it for dosa, chapati and the results are good. The taste is definitely better than the non stick. I am using cast iron for health benefits. Wooden handles helps a lot. So far I have experienced that it consumes less enegy due to its design. I strongly recommend this product to everyone.

Dosa tawa is spreading heat evenly and it makes good and non sticky dosa.Having Handle is good option.Size is adequate but not bigger as I expected.

It appears to be used one. The size (diameter) is not usable for us. The amount of refund is also less of Rs.200/-why so. please let me know.
