Just received yesterday. Haven't opened it yet, but looking forward to putting it together

We build so many legos and thought we would try an off brand. Won’t make that mistake again. First, this is not 6+. I would say 12 or older. Second, and most importantly, if you are used to legos this set will frustrate the living heck out of you. It kept falling apart while building and needing to be put back together at the base. Also my kids like to play with sets once finished and this one you cannot— it fell apart continuously. I’ll stick to legos

This does not go together as easily as name brand Legos...which is PERFECT because it is going to take a fussy teen home on school break (who can't see friends right this moment because it is literally Christmas Eve) a little longer than expected to put together. They can grumble to their adolescent heart's content about how this does or does not go together, funneling their annoyance into a toy. The sense of accomplishment when it's finally and carefully assembled is great!

We have done quite a few gingerbread houses now and while this one is nice it does have a few drawbacks.-It came in very well packaged and in great shape, gift quality packaging.-Everything was accounted for, no missing pieces.-The instructions are pretty clear but there are a few spots where if you have not built a bunch of these you would not understand what they are trying to show.-A nice part though is each step is bagged individually so you do not have to dump out all the pieces at once if you don’t want to.-Some of the pieces are very hard to click together, I mean once you get them they stay really well, they just require more umph than some other sets.-The amount of detail in the set is very cute and quite unique as some bits we have not seen in other sets.-The listing pictures match the finished build very well.Overall it is a very nice set and a great addition to a holiday display or play set.

This cute gingerbread house was a Horror!! The pieces would not stay connected. It was VERY frustrating for n 8yr old n her parents. In the endThe only choice they had was to try n glue it togetherIt certainly wasn’t Lego quality!! N caused tears nFrustration instead of a learning n fun time !!!

Appears exactly like shown. Haven't tried to put it together yet. Arrived promptly.

Every year we make a ginger bread house kit and it always seems a waste that it's not eaten and thrown away at the end. This year I thought we'd try something different so I ordered this kit. We haven't put it together yet but it seems well made, similar to legos. My kids are excited to put it together.

Such pretty little details and lights! Directions are easy to follow and it was a fun build. Fun was to make a ginger bread house
