These are pretty well made and the 3XL size I ordered fit properly too - always a hit-or-miss proposition at this end of the sizing spectrum. The fabic is 100% polyester and, frankly, does look like man-made fabric, but it looks OK and will be very suitable for the beach/garden. They're pretty comfortable on despite being unlined and made from plasticManufacture is good: all seams are even with no dagling threads; they've used good quality zips for the pockets which are deep enough to be useful; the draw-string has metal aglets and are well secured.You're not going to fool anyone that you're wearing designer gear but for just about £20 they're very good value.

They are extremely comfortable to wear and they look really good. The "Honeydew" colour as shown in the product photos is a very good representation of the product that you will receive. I am a UK size 36 waist and so I selected the "36" size of these shorts. The sizing was spot on and they do fit perfectly.As you can see in the photos I have provided, the shorts use a drawstring on the waist to secure them. Some clothing brands like to use a flat shoelace type drawstring and I find with those, that over time the drawstring stretches and you have to keep re-tying to stop your shorts from falling down. Fortunately the type of drawstring provided with these shorts is a rounded shoelace type drawstring, and this type of drawstring does not stretch. So you should find that you only need to tie the drawstring once when you raise them.The two side pockets both utilise zippers to keep your pocket contents secure. The side pockets are quite deep and should easily be deep enough to hold your mobile phone and wallet. There are two rear pockets (not pictured) that do not have zippers. The rear pockets are not very deep and therefore it would not be safe to put anything valuable in them (Certainly not your wallet or payment card holder).The shorts feel very soft to touch and are made of 100% polyester. They are machine washable but the washing instructions state to wash in a cold machine wash only.Are these shorts value for money? Well, they are very well made, they do look good when worn, they do have zipper side pockets and so they fill the main requirements that this tester wants in a pair of shorts - so I would say that they are good value for money at the current selling price of £19.99.

These are a nice well made pair of shorts that come up fairly true to size, perhaps slightly on the large side. Although they are made of polyester, it is of a good quality and are comfortable to wear. The advantage of polyester is that they are very easy to wash and wear, requiring very little, if any, ironing. Ideal for going on holiday.The shorts are very well made, with no loose threads etc. The pockets at the front have zips and are large enough for a mobile phone. The pockets at the back are smaller and less secure. There is an elastic waist with a drawstring and this allows you to pull in any excess material, whilst they still look smart.These are more leisurewear rather than for the gym or exercise, and sit just above the knee. I got the shorts in navy and it's a lovely dark colour. We just need the sunshine in order to be able to wear them!

Such a nice pair of shorts, well made and lovely fabric BUT on my goodness they are HUGE. I ordered a 38 for my husband a usual and these I'd say are an XXL easily (but they do say UK38 on the label) - they do have a drawstring waist so he can pull them in and wear them but they are so baggy I'd imagine they will be relegated to garden and garage work times only as they are just too large to wear for smarter occasions. Otherwise a lovely navy blue pair of shorts. Just do SIZE DOWN !

I ordered my usual size 36. The shorts are true to size and are a good fit on me. They are lightweight and comfortable - ideal to wear on summer holidays but the fabric is not too thin. I will be wearing them for leisurewear but not for gym or fitness classes. I like the zipped front pockets that will keep valuables secure when sitting or lounging as you do on the beach. These zipped front pockets also have sufficient volume to hold my mobile phone which is an important practicality for me. They are made of polyester so are easy care in that they are machine washable, quick drying and will not need ironing but the fabric does not feel like cheap synthetic material. At £20 they are not a cheap pair of shorts but they are good quality and I think they are worth their price.
