My first impression was wow! It looks and feels great.
I have never owned a real wooden spoon. My first impression was wow! It looks and feels great. Now I have to do some baking to try it out. Appears to be very sturdy and I think it feels good in my hand. I believe that it will be safe on coated surfaces. I also do not think that it will carry over tastes - I will have to test this. I believe that the price is fair for what I got. I have not really tried stirring a large variety of mixtures, but so far so good. Over all I am pleased with the purchase.

Very finely made, not your average wood spoon, what a great deal!
I can’t believe these are only $12 or so. Very nicely made, beautiful to look at, with a smooth but tactile, not-slippery surface. The handles are tapered slightly and not round in profile, so they add a level of control and dexterity I’m not accustomed to, and give you a lot of leverage. Note these are hand wash, and need a coat of food-grade mineral oil periodically, like a fine cutting board. They are not indestructible, so if that’s what you want, look elsewhere. These are nothing like the bamboo spoons in the mesh bag in your grocery store’s kitchen gadgets aisle. They are precisely made.

Beautiful and High Quality
This is my new favorite spoon. I’ve had just the cheep bamboo ones in the past but they break so easily and don’t have any heft to them so I wanted something more sturdy and pretty. This spoon is very well made and has just the right weight and feel in my hand. I used to have a spoon and a flat spatula but this replaced both as it has a flat edge but also a hollow for scooping. The wood was sanded smooth and I oiled it before I used it so that it wouldn’t get that rough feel from the wood fibers absorbing water. Every one is unique because this is real wood and mine had plenty of beautiful lines and swirls than give the piece character. I will be adding more utensils from this maker to my collection soon. A perfect hand crafted piece for an unbelievable price.

Sturdy and Beautiful
Although I generally cook using stainless steel cookware, I still want to protect them. Using wooden utensils help do that, preventing scratches and dings. This spoon is well made, very sturdy and has a beautiful finish. I don't know how it will hold up over time, but so far it has worked very well and still is like new. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Very sturdy heavy Teak
It was not a flimsy, thin spoon. It looks like it was made to take a lot of heat. I felt that the heal of the spoon should have been made a little thinner. Looks good. After washing, I recommend coating it with a coat of cooking oil. My preference is Grapeseed oil

A nice cooking utensil and is attractive. Smooth feel and easy to work with. Like the shape, particularly the edge. A bit pricey but worth it.
