Not what I expected
I bought these at a little middle eastern corner grocery store many years ago in NY and they were absolutely delicious. It was all I could do to not devour the entire box in one sitting. But the ones in this order were dry, tasteless and not much date filling in them. Just horrible quality.

Delicious
These are, dates-filled cookies like our American "fig newtons." They are traditionally drier than more buttery/oily fig newtons, and more like the authentic, crumbly Irish scones. They are made to be eaten alongside some choice liquid, like hot tea/coffee, or hot/cold milk. Those people who complain here that the cookies were "too dry", do not realize that they are supposed to be dry and crumbly like the Irish scones. All the same, some of the cookies were broken up and smashed in packing/transportation. but I happily eat them all the same :-)

Shipping issue- - pkging was too flimsy.
I was so disappointed in this product. The shipping was much too flimsy. Arrived broken pkging and broken cookies. Cookies tasted very stale. Will not order again.

Dry, tasteless and poor mouth feel.
These were just a disappointment. They were dry, crumbly, tasteless and fell apart in my hand before I could have even get it to my mouth. Such a waste of money. I should have read the review before ordering. Such a wonderful concept but these just failed on every level. Never again!

Loved it!
I got this gift for a friend, and she absolutely loved it. It’s full of flavor and has a good texture, and it shipped extremely fast. Loving this product, and will buy some for myself in the future.

Not worth it
All the cookies were in pieces, were very dry, & had not much date filling inside. Would not buy again.

Not as good as others
I decided to give a try. I tried the Halwani and Baraka brands before. Unfortunately, this Taza brand is anything but Taza. Taza in Arabic means fresh. It's dry, flavorless and not much dates filling. I will not buy again.
