Namaste FoodsOrganic Arrowroot Starch, Gluten Free, 18-Ounce (Pack of 6) – Allergen Free

I have to avoid gluten, all grains, corn, potatoes, nuts, beans, seeds and eggs (and yes, I still have food to eat, lol!) I’m in the intro stage of the AIP diet, and am seeing marked improvements in my auto-immune condition. 🙌🏻 But cooking has definitely become both a science and an art. I recently discovered that not only can I use arrowroot as a thickener for sauces and gravies, but it will also sometimes work as an egg substitute in baked goods, as long as it’s fresh and not expired (make sure to check the date!). This has given me some more options! I can now make a no-bake pumpkin pie, that doesn’t turn out gooey! 🎉

Box was received with flour stuck to packing tape. About an ounce by weight was missing from each damaged bag. Hole seemed to be caused during production since it was in the same position on the damaged bags. Had to transfer remaining flour to another container. This isn't typical of the Namaste quality I'm used to. Hope they get this straightened out. Not sanitary.

Love this product and the packaging. Easy to reseal and perfect opening to get measuring scoop in. The price is great as well. Will order again for sure!!

Great flour and customer service. The flour is used in baking and thickening sauces. Another brand smelled like cumin, and this one doesn't.

The first time we ordered this, the arrowroot starch was fine. The second time, all six bags were slightly off-gray and smelled funky terrible, like a combination of dirt (the kind you'd find under your house that never gets light) and mold. Unfortunately, we forgot to take it off our Amazon subscribe order, so we got another six bags of it today. Thankfully, it's fine again and only confirms that the last batch was very off. Hopefully the funky batch was just a one time thing. Bad arrowroot smells very, very bad.
