Received it fast. Disappointed that the book came looking a bit used. Cover of book was bent and ruff looking. Wouldn’t mind for personal use, but it is a gift for a special needs student of mine that loves snails. 😒

We learned about garden snails and this book was the favorite.

This book was not quite as in-depth on snails as I had hoped it would be.

Describes the structures and functions of snails body parts and does a quick survey of different kinds of snails.A perfect read for kids curious about the creatures they see in the garden, along the path, or in the water. This does a great job of introducing the basics of snail anatomy and also provides great photographs of the range of snails found in the world, both terrestrial and marine. The words are kept simple for beginning readers.
